Gridiron Gumbo (gridirongumbo.com and the Gumbo app at gridirongumbo.com/app/) is published by Black Pot Media LLC (“we,” “us”). We talk picks, lines and predictions because it is part of the fun of football. Please read this first.

For entertainment only

Our picks, predictions, odds talk, rankings, grades and Beat the Gumbo pick’em are opinions for entertainment. They are not betting, financial or professional advice. We are not a sportsbook, and we do not take bets.

No guarantees

Nobody can predict games for sure. Past results, including our pick record, do not guarantee future results. Odds and lines change; check a licensed sportsbook for current numbers. If you choose to bet, you do so at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any losses.

Know the law

You must be of legal age to gamble where you live, which is 21 or older in most states, including Louisiana. Sports betting is not legal everywhere. Follow the laws where you live. Betting on high school games is not legal in most states. Our high school predictions are just for fun and are never betting picks.

Play responsibly

• Only bet what you can afford to lose.
• Set a budget and a time limit, and stick to them.
• Never chase losses or borrow money to bet.
• Take a break if it stops being fun.
