The other guys had Mississippi State buried at number nine in something called ‘the middle muddle’ — with Missouri ranked ahead of them. Funny thing: State beat Missouri head-to-head. So I fixed it.
- Georgia (6-0) — beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa; last unbeaten standing.
- Alabama (5-1) — only loss is by 3 to number one.
- Kentucky (5-1) — beat LSU, 3-1 in the SEC.
- Mississippi State (4-1) — beat Missouri head-to-head, with road wins at South Carolina and Minnesota.
- Ole Miss (4-1) — hung 52 on Vanderbilt, but lost to Florida.
- Missouri (5-1) — good record, but you don’t rank a team over the team that beat it.
- Texas (4-1) — just lost to Oklahoma.
- Tennessee (5-1) — lost to Texas, so they sit behind them.
- Oklahoma (3-2) — beat Texas, but two losses is two losses.
- LSU (4-2).
- South Carolina (3-3) — just whipped Florida 38-19.
- Florida (4-2).
- Auburn (3-2).
- Texas A&M (3-3).
- Vanderbilt (3-3).
- Arkansas (2-4).
Every team crying disrespect lost to somebody ranked above them. That’s the argument, and it’s airtight. — T-Rohn
