Brief History

• LaGrange High School dates its founding to 1903.^[2]
• It is a Calcasieu Parish public high school with about 940 students in grades 9-12 (2023-24).^[2]
• The Gators list a 1938 football state title, a 1967 boys basketball title and girls basketball titles in 2020 and 2021.^[2]

Momus showed up to Lake Charles Mardi Gras on a royal yacht in 1882. Locals have been late to everything ever since, waiting on the boat.
